However, the language does not REQUIRE the company to interpret it this way, and it doesn't REQUIRE the company treat a SWAP as a DROP. The company is CHOOSING to do that intentionally.
Think about that and remember who ultimately is CHOOSING to ruin your QOL.
What grievance? I don’t know of any grievance about this and I’ve been in contact with multiple people in the union regarding this issue.
I’m not talking about adding a three day over a two day. That is going against the reserve balancing algorithm. Same footprint swaps are being interpreted by the company correctly. Straight from the scheduling committee.
Look I’m a volunteer and a very strong supporter of the union. But this was a major screw up that is very negatively effecting people’s QOL. I pay dues which gives me the right to question and point out problems and mistakes made.
