I almost never post on this forum...but I have to ask this as I see it more and more, everywhere.

Why is it, when someone bashes someone else's cable news network of choice, people get so fired up and defensive (or shall I say "triggered")?

These entities are for profit, manufactured, very intentionally designed businesses, with the sole aim of distributing information to their chosen demographic, to increase viewership and gain advertising dollars.

They aren't giving you information because they want to inform you! They are spewing non stop, opinionated information that they know you'll agree with so you keep on coming back!

So again...whats the need to defend a cable news channel?
