Delta tracks every captain at Compass and keeps a tally of how many minutes a captain overblocks every month...they’ve done this for at least 3-4 years. While I understand there are a multitude of factors that would cause a slow down, that’s not the way Delta or AA for that matter sees it. Never heard of this and count me skeptical.. 3-4 yrs ago we waited for gates 30-45 minutes on average it seemed and were late all the time... You remember. Are they still tracking it now that we've lost the flying?
