Gotcha. Seems like it's a pretty good spot, I enjoyed my time when I visited. Nice planes and well kept from what I've heard. I spoke to one ex-CFI who's with Republic now... he said he spent 11 months there and was averaging between 70-80 every month. Also said that was after he got his CFII so maybe that changes things.
For me, coming from the Northeast I figure averaging that every month is a little better than having to deal with the tough fall and winter months that could be 40-50.
Yeah I think that’s true because a lot of CFIs here told me that it’s smart I’m doing my CFII right now.
I know exactly what you mean. I just moved down here from the Washington DC area literally just to escape our winters. Last year most instructors at my old school averaged 30-40 hours a month because of the strong Xwinds. It should be way better down here in New Smyrna
