IIRC, it was not certified to be a class action lawsuit, which was a win for ALPA. If it was certified as a class action, all would have gotten something.
Once that happened, they settled. Don't know that the details were ever disclosed.
Personally, I think the lawsuit had merit.
Since agency shop, "our" union leadership has had no accountability and seems to do as they please as "they know better than us".
