Just playing devils advocate, and admittedly I want to stir the pot, but arriving 30 mins early kinda dicks over ATC because they have to juggle you around until the gate opens.
Landed 45 min early, gate open, never stopped
Downside is I probably lost 0.1 of flight time on that flight
