+1 for Navy Yard... lived there for almost 2 years. Sad when I left. Short walk to bars/restaurants/whole payche.... I mean foods. I went to Nats games on a whim in incredible seats for $30-100. My biggest problem in the area was the continuous construction but there are a couple apartment buildings where it’s not a big issue. Rent prices are insane. I probably would have stayed if it weren’t for the rent/parking costs.
Parking is so crazy that it was less expensive for me to Uber to and from Dulles and BWI than it was to own a car. So I sold my car.
