Either way I'm happy to be on the 737 and even happier just being here at United. Commuting out to SFO from DC isn't fun but its also not so terrible that I would ever complain about it. Me commuting for 6-8 months is nothing compared to what some of the senior guys and gals had to endure over the past 10-15 years. My hats off to them for sticking it out and making sacrifices that we new hires hopefully wont have to endure in our future.
The 787 movement is artificially slow due to the MAX grounding. They are basically putting out the bare minimum for vacancies until they know when the aircraft is coming back. The next vacancy after the MAX is ungrounded you will see significant 737 movement all over the system.
