Again, it's the pilot's word versus the company's inability to confirm or deny anything.
Certainly a few years ago it would look very suspicious, and be a black mark. But now with all kinds of people jumping from place to place maybe not. Who knows what will be the be an issue to majors 3 years from now.
But it's hard to differentiate this from someone not doing well in training and being asked to resign.
