I made a comment about profitable airlines furloughing pilots (IE, it doesn't happen) in the "Our Best Furlough Bargaining Chip" thread.

Won't repost it here, but in short, I agree.

A furlough ain't happening without a slew of quarterly reports printed in red ink, not black.
