I like your posts, but we gotta talk....

Lennon was over-rated. Have you REALLY listened to any Beatles tunes after 1966? They sound TIRED. They sound DATED.

Now--pull out the Led Zep. The Pink Floyd. Even the Kinks or Stones. Listen. See? Good rock and roll still lasts and is timeless. Concept rock (aka Sgt Pepper and everything after) is tired.

I'm not saying I support Mark Chapman, but man...I could see his point. I grew weary of the dude too.

I will say that if I ever was talented enough to sell that many albums, I could do a lot better than an ugly oriental performance artist. (Hell--I already did). Ditto Paul and his one-legged gold digger. Guess it shows wealth and fame don't buy taste.

But anyway...dontcha want to ditch the wierdo for a nice aviation avatar like the rest of us?
