Not picking a fight, just making an observation. While I work at XJT, UAL is not my top pick for a destination so I don't have much of a dog in this fight anyway.
Maybe it’s because they thought this person was worth interviewing for the position but said person did not step up? There is so much animosity about this hiring but there are a few voices in this forum that are really screeching negativity without taking a step back and thinking about how much they’d probably suck to fly with under said attitude. I certainly know that there are two voices in this forum I hope to never fly with as I’m sure I’ll just be told over and over why being a pilot sucks and everything sucks and it’ll only get better once you get to the next level, which I disagree.
