6)"shame on you for supporting aviate" Say that to the XJT pilots at United now who went via the CPP. I believe hundreds will get to United earlier than they could as off the street hires, similar to the success of the CPP. It's not perfect but it will help out a lot of young pilots get to United. The ones it doesn't help can moan and complain about it, or get busy getting hired off the street somewhere. This whole "we deserve it!" mindset is boring and those who have it flaunt their ignorance of the way the world works.
Please. The pay here is middle of the road and the work rules are highly outdated. Back in 2004 it was considered industry leading. The times have changed.

For example, we don’t even have duty rigs, our min day pay is 2hrs (industry standard is 3.5 - 4hrs) and no commuter hotels.

I’m curious how your seniority holds anything more than 12 days off. 80% of hard lines are min days in all bases.

2.5 - 3.5hr sits are very much the norm here on low and it’s possible for the company since we do not have any duty rigs. Reassignments are also the norm.

This place is far from the worst but improvements must be made if we wish to attract the best and brightest, or any pilots in general. The company has admitted that the steady flow of new hires has dwindled to just a trickle as other more competitive companies begin hiring again.
