History is absolute and when guys come on the United section of this forum and bleat and whine about how good we (currently) have it don't be surprised when we offer up that history in response. I would certainly not characterize it as us "patting ourselves on the back".

WRT your assertion that we look down on regional guys you'd be surprised at the number of UA guys who toiled in the regional ranks. I assure you that most of them do not consider you an unqualified reject.

The "relationship" between regional guys and majors has gotten better over the years, but it sounds to me as though it will never be as good as you and the Chief Troll want it. You'll waste fewer heartbeats when you stop worrying about it because I assure you that most of us don't even consider your plight until and unless we're on your jumpseat. Harsh yes, but factual. Besides, we're too busy looking at Porsche, Rolex and Yellowfin catalogs.

Been there, done that and it sucked. My suggestion is to get hired ASAP.
