I just feel like the agreement may have fallen apart because they went from excited to stressed and almost pessimistic sounding.

Not sure what attrition is but most people are interviewing. Classes for most airlines are 1-3 months out so plan on massive attrition November-January if nothing is announced. An FO I flew with told me the CP was processing a two weeks letter every 7 hours. Not sure how true that is, but I wouldn’t say it’s far off. I would say we will be losing 30-40 pilots a month if not more by the end of October.

I really like Compass and I’ve had a good few years. I loved the people I’ve worked with most of all. I hope there is good news around the corner, but I can’t put my life/career progression in jeopardy based off of an announcement that may never come. Most of you know me as someone who is optimistic but I’m just sharing how I feel about the situation. Hope for the best, expect the worst. That’s how you have to live in this industry.

The man hit every nail on the head here. Someone frame this post lol
