I saw quite a few NYC rotations this summer offered as GS, then IA's that then go NOOP'd...rotation remarks at bottom said "could not cover"....so there was a point that folks said "thanks but no thanks" to multiple GS's this summer.
Me personally,I flew 94 hours on reserve in July..and hated working that much. Then got a bit smarter in bidding and worked less days, about 50 hours with some rolling thunder for 120 payin August. GS reserve can be fruitful...
I will say this though...my motivation will be a lot less cooperative next summer, if management is stonewalling us...
