Truthfully, flying 11-leg turboprop days in NE winter storms for $18K/year, living in your car in the airport parking lot, and showering at the gym is more unpleasant than most military aviation jobs (unless you catch a SAM and punch out over Tehran). Be forwarned, entry-level civilian flying jobs are NOT what you think they are...by the time you get great pay and lifestyle, you will have grey hair (if you have any left at all).
