Well first, the majority of us 5000 pilots just got the news about this in our inboxes and are trying to digest everything through the noise. So far we are being told that both the FO and CA’s certificates could be in jeopardy because if a captain allowed the JS it would violate the FOM given no JS agreement will be in place the 15th.
Second, we haven’t and don’t know if as a pilot group we will get the opportunity to vote to have the JS committee accept or reject the proposed priority.
Third, we have been told by the SAPA reps that UALPA won’t even communicate with them despite them reaching out. So point two may be mute.
This is all new to most of us and we don’t even know if we will get a vote or a say. I know that decisions of a few can have consequences for the whole pilot group but in this case things have happened so fast it feels like there isn’t the time to even sway or influence leadership to go one way or another. It sucks and I hope something gives before the 15th.
So do you guys or do you not have the same type of agreement with Delta? Just asking (Honestly don’t know)
