Denying jumpseat is unbelievably repugnant. Any union which advocates this is a bad union. Only a scab should be denied the jumpseat. I would defy my union on this one. It's disgusting.
Seeing many Very new pilots to the industry doing this is unbelievable. They don't have a clue what they are embarking on. I have zero respect for ANY denier.
Ya, talked with the AA Captain today (JSing on his AC). Sounds like their current policy is what UAL is transitioning to. (I hear DAL does this too) Are they being denied JS now too?

Anyway, I wouldn't take on ALPA. Not good. Just flew with a Capt. involved in hiring, don't expect a call, but a letter.
