Looks like most of the 220s that were grounded were back flying in less than a day following some sort of inspection. Hopefully some lessons can be learned.
As an aside, Boeing is getting all the press lately but these GTFs haven't exactly been trouble free workhorses either. Still some kinks to iron out it would seem.
It was Swiss that pulled the trigger but it didnt blindside anyone. There is a lot of attention on those engines... probably because PW put all their attention on NEO engines.
