But hey, those are the ‘cool’ pilots.
I check the logbook for open write-ups and aircraft history, I check NOTAMs and the enroute weather as well as METARs and TAFs. Scouring the flight release for problems, as well as setting up the entire FMS/Weight & Balance.....takes less than 10 minutes.
The job is easy when it’s easy. Obviously, there are times when it’s not.
