First hand info... this has all happened to me since this started. I'm a non UA major pilot (former OO).

- Gate told me CA just spoke to her and they probably couldn't take a jumpseater due to FOM issues with UA. CA sorted it out after calls to ops and supervisor.

- Gate told me that I had to be in uniform to sit in the actual on OO so as not to be confused with airlines who are banned from the JS (resolved by getting a seat in the back but only because the RJ had my company paint on it and I had nonrev status).

- Told that ALPA pilots could not sit in JS (resolved that by removing my lanyard).

Just so yall know what's going on in your name, might want to make the walk or have the gate let YOU make the call on all JS requests. Seems like ANY OAL pilot is at risk of getting caught up in this.
