Maybe the pilot doesn't want to deal with a hostile pilot group just moments before he takes 50 souls up to FL300. You guys brought this on yourselves with the UALPA bully tactics to try to force this agreement down our throats, then with the blacklist campaign. Don't act so surprised all the time, not a good look.
A pilot who is going to get so emotionally distraught by walking up to a gate and telling someone they can’t fly probably shouldn’t being doing this job. We are in a customer service industry and part of that service is checking the gate. JS war aside, I think any HR department would think twice about hiring such a pilot to represent their company.
