But the incident of the fuel truck was not a movement by the plane, but was caused by multiple failures while refueling. The truck wasn’t positioned properly, it wasn’t chalked and the interlock failed. Still doesn’t have anything to do with pilots taxiing.
If there have been some taxi incidents, would be nice to hear specifics from management as opposed to cryptic HI6s. But knee jerking to the wrong problem is a way of life.
Had Ed Delehant in our recurrent class. He talked specifically of multiple incidents recently of taxiing into gates that had rampers including wing walkers, but had equipment in the safety area. Led to damage
