I know some folks like to bend the rules up north, but everybody in the lower 48 figured out a long time ago that you cannot apply common sense when the pax all have HD video on their cell phones.

The FAA will come down like a ton of bricks when stuff like this gets on social media. Word to the wise. If you're going to depart with a "touch" of frost, better have the FA make sure all the cabin window shades are down. Welcome to 2019.

FAASTER lost some credibility calling “frost” “ice.” Nonetheless, rickair7777 is absolutely correct. As for the rest, read up on 121.629. Being “professional” means you do the right thing even when nobody is watching.
