I've thought for some time (especially considering our safety record!) that folks who jumpseat into MEM to operate outbound should (must) be able to use a sleep room. I view it this way ... who's rested better, the guys who spent all day at a hotel, especially after flying all night the night before; or; the guy who did 20 last minute errands for the wife and kids so that things would run smoother while he was away from home!*?
I'm impressed with the whole sleep room philosophy but we REALLY need more of them so that ANYBODY that wants one can get one. How about if we use the recliner rooms for more sleep rooms? We could put the recliners in the TV room.
All the above said, when I've approached James Brodie, and said, "Hey James, I had a really bad day at home and could REALLY use a sleep room." He's given me one ...
