I understand our pay system. If you pick up a 20hr reserve trip, and never fly again, you get 83 hours of pay. What’s the difference if it’s MPG going up or add pay? It’s 10 hours extra of pay. It’s the exact same amount of money.
If you flew 78 hours that month you’d want MPG to be 73 with 10 hours of add pay. It’s not really common but there are good reasons it’s add pay and not guarantee.
