I do it just because. You know there is “that guy” at DL that will ask why you haven’t ever flown any instrument time at the airlines.Truthfully I don’t think it matters at this point.
Don’t overthink logging time though. Most places really don’t care. I’ve reviewed logbooks many times as an ex-recruiter. Some are better than others but the only thing we care about is that it’s legible and that everything adds up. I don’t care what the tail number was or who your CA or FO was. If something major happened, feel free to put in in the remarks sections. We will most likely ask about it at an interview. If it’s a story you’d rather not tell, don’t put it there. Just my words of advice.
