I agree that it isn't likely they'll tear down the E con that they've been working on, but then again, by the time such a large undertaking is ready to commence, it could make sense to do it. But who knows. The as yet to be completed expansion of the current E-con isn't going to make taxiing around the top any better, but it will improve the chaos inside the building as those end gates finally get their own space and jetways.
