Upgrades have slowed down but only by a hair. There was a period where the need was so great guys would upgrade while on IOE. Now it’s maybe within a couple of months. Still very rapid. Keep in mind it is still a recommended upgrade - not guaranteed. Fly good and don’t suck and you’d likely see the left seat within 3 months on the line but that is purely speculation.

BFI as a base has been a rumor since the flying started there. Seeing as most of our stations become bases eventually I would imagine if flying increases there, it is definitely within the cards.

A day in the life is different every single day. You usually won’t know specifically what you’re doing on a given day until about five to seven days in advance. Then expect it to change a few times. A common day could look as simple as an out an back, to a 4 leg loop through the system, to 5 legs and a deadhead to a minrest overnight. Seniority won’t play a factor in this so it’s a roll of the dice. 90% of days are pretty simple, 3-4 legs, AM or PM type lines. On an 8 day rotation you’d probably see all three of those examples plus a day of home or airport standby.

It’s a great place to be and a lot of fun working in this environment. Plenty of frustrations but the pros heavily outweigh the cons.
