Unless CP has assets I don’t know about, I wouldn’t hope SkyWest out as a possible buyer if that is what I’m reading. A merger would be messy and a headache and expensive for a fleet expansion of less than 4%. Then American moves the planes back to envoy.
Compass is not long for this world but a SkyWest merger/takeover isn’t happening. SkyWest would literally gain nothing other than some pilots/FA’s/HQ employees in Minnesota and 20 AA owned planes.
