All good info yall. One thing to note is NJA and AA or any other legacy are two completely different companies in the same industry.
Im fine with AA and the flow and doing the airline thing.
NJA is appealing with the 100% paid medial/dental/vision, good pay, advanced jets, live whereever I want, no commute, gain hotel and airline points.
Buying airline tickets and hotels with points or at least heavily discounted is way better than Non-rev in my opinion. I buy tickets more than I nonrev now bc of the loads and stress it creates.
Comparing NJA and AA is a very difficult task. Both have benefits and downfalls. Obviously top end pay at AA is more than top end at NJA.
But do the added benefits of NJA outweigh the pay? Maybe.
QOL is king in this industry. Having the ability to have 7on/7off is incredible. Try visiting family across country or doing something of value with 3 days off. not gonna happen.
