To further drive home my point, after reciting a memory item to the examiner or checkairman on your oral, do you also have to recite to them that you will follow up with any applicable ECAM actions, COM procedure, PAX, or FA announcement???
Well of course you would. But why isn’t that listed under the memory items?
Bottom line. If it’s not listed under memory item, guess what? It’s not a memory item. And if someone tells you differently then tell them to show you where it says it’s a memory item.
Ask them “so are you wanting me to walk you through the entire emergency event? Or do you just want to know just the memory items”? Big difference!
Haha...yeah because a probie new hire is going to do that to an APD on their type oral.
The preamble call out is beyond stupid, but until they change it, cooperate and graduate.
Why do we have to memorize gear speeds when they are in the plane? Max landing weights?....Cooperate and graduate
