It depends on what you're looking for, and you're right, it's not a problem of finding news as much as it's a problem of filtering news you want.

If you use Google reader (or other RSS feed reader) there are many sources but in my experience you have to watch out for info glut - that helpless feeling of having thousands of stories to read, but no time to do so.
