That was why delta gave it to the SSP pilots after years of saying no. Everyone was leaving from the bottom of the list in 2014, the reserve rules were much less friendly, and as a last ditch "we won't give you a penny more money" effort, they let the FOs have a shot. It didn't work but for whatever reasons delta kept their word after they gave all the money back and then some.

I know young guys don't believe this, but if you all acted unified, and asked for something reasonable, Delta would treat you like valuable professionals in the negotiations.
