Definitely not lower than the regionals. They match 50% of whatever you put in, up to 8%. So if 8% of your gross salary is $1000 they put in $500 for you. And this starts Year 1. Curious what regional has that on Year 1?
It’s essentially a 4% match (50% of 8) that never increases.
Regardless of starting day 1, It’s the lack of year over year increase that causes us to fall behind almost every regional.
SkyWest, Horizon, ExpressJet and many more have a 401k match that reflects and then exceeds ours after just one year or less of service.
So while it’s not
low, it is towards the below average end compared to a lot of the regional airlines.
