Always funny to read what people ***** about.

Let's be brutally honest.
As pilots, most of us DON'T do contract research BEFORE applying to airlines. Just about everyone throws their apps into the pool of every major, and some nationals.

We just "hope" that where ever we land is better that where we are currently.
Sure, everyone has their "dream" job. Usually based on where they live, and if they have family there too.

I never wanted Cargo, I never wanted SouthWest or American. Really didn't look at United too hard cause of what the guys in my squadron told me about AND was flying for United Express and saw what an abortion that was.
Delta was my DREAM job.
And got shot down!

Now, I think that HAD I ended up at Delta, I wouldn't have gotten the type of lifestyle I have enjoyed over the past many years.

You never really know how things will work out.. but, to read some of the *****ing/complaining that is going on in this thread is both funny, and a little sad AND disconcerting going into the future~
