I’m on the fence trying to decide if I go to Envoy(no 1 on my list) or XJT. Mainly because of the TX bases. I was considering envoy also for the flow and the fact that it’s wholly owned by AA. But if the above is true, I might have to go to my no 2 on the list. Thank in advance!
You are going to have to give me some more answers if you want a reliable answer. And remember the answers you get from people on here will vary greatly. Envoy ebbs and flows drastically so each person will have a different experience.

So you want a DFW base? When are you looking to start with Envoy?

If you start soonish then you may be able to log 350-400 you first year. So back in 2017 we had a HUGE hiring wave of FOs and they didn’t fly much. The RTP guys were also starting to come online during that time. It seems like most of those guys that I fly with are about to get the hours to upgrade on this next bid DEC19 or MAR20. There are lots of those guys trying to delay upgrading until they can hold a line in DFW or they are losing hours due to guard duty/ military leave. Once those guys upgrade then I’m guessing/hoping that reserve times will come down and be more predictable.
