I completely disagree with this and it is contradictory. You are basically saying that a negotiator can only see half the deal. It’s not difficult to see if we trade one for another that other companies would be expected to do the same.

United asks for Delta’s new pay rates and the company’s negotiator says sure, in return for profit sharing just like delta gave up. Come on, this isn’t even a serious argument.
