Because flight ops is OUR office. It’s OUR work place. To call it the CPO diminishes that, as if we’re guests in our own home. Subjugates the pilot group as visitors. It’s the other way around.
I was in the Chief Pilots Office (CPO) just the other day, it’s next to the weather room....CPO must be a new trigger word?
