Years ago just after the merger I got asked by a visiting guppy crew where the Chief Pilot’s Office was. I told them “Its in flight operations.” They said “Oh...where’s the weather room”? I told them I have no idea but I’ll intro them to the chief pilot. I have no problem calling things whatever, but some guys still call a category a BES even though that’s not the term we use, but they I get chastised when I call the CPO “flight ops”. So I guess we are even.
Huh? Seriously, when did we stop calling it BES??
