My assertion is just anecdotal from taking to them for 12 years in the cockpit, crew room, layovers, etc. About 10% of them have cargo at their top destination. That’s not to say that the other 90% don’t go to cargo, especially if that the first or only job offer they have.
Maybe that’s just how the pilot group was where you were at? I was at SkyWest, and many of the people I flew with had FedEx as a top choice. Flying UEX stuff has a tendency to make one hate everything about passenger carriers.
