Yep. First time on the -200 JS my inner voice was screaming, “Flare, Flare, for the love of God PLEASE FLARE!!!” It was smooth as butter.
I thought I’d hidden my fear/discomfort well, but as we cleared the runway they both looked back at me and the captain asked, “First time on the -200 jumpseat?” I don’t know what tipped them off. I’m pretty sure I didn’t make any noises, but I apologized if I had distracted them. They said it happens frequently. It still weirds me out even though I commute on them all the time!
