They want to make sure we are all the fly now grieve later types, and they have been pretty successful at doing so. There was a short period that this was my only thing, when closing one business and opening another. Even then I still told them to kick rocks on a daily basis.

We all have mouths to feed and bills to pay. It all boils down to personality type. Once you no longer have the fear of the unknown or feeling of being trapped and have the mentality that when one door closes another one will open, this job is a lot different. Life is a lot different. People like me are a danger to managements little game of instilling fear in people. I know because I know what's it's like to be on the other side of the table, not in the airlines but in other industry. It's all just a game, they need you more then you need them. They will be taken aback if pilots finally figure that concept out. That's what it boils down to.
