It’s a managment company they are a dime a dozen. They are only a middle man in the process of chartering out a clients aircraft. They strictly maintain the aircraft maintence status, sell charters, and maintain pilot training and SOPs. Basically a 135 certificate responsibilities. Taking all factors in to account they are held to part 135 standards as far as flying goes Compensation can very base upon the aircraft owner. The managment company and aircraft owner have to negotiate salary with a pilot. One owner may only want to fly 30hrs a year. Why would they pay you 150k for that? On the flip side another owner may want to charter the plane 600hrs a year. So your life,pay,and job security will depend upon the owner not the jet managment company.
