He goes overseas for few yrs chasing heavy metal and then complains how airlines are crap overseas and cant work in a toxic culture and wants to come back once he fills his bank. He comes back to the USA and goes to a regional collects the bonus after IOE and applies to Spirit and Spirit hires him. And yet the guys and girls here who work hard, paid their dues and are loyal to their country and companies here, not all but some great personalities get turned down by places like Spirit. But yet airlines like Spirit who should question their credibility and loyalty hire them. Sounds very disheartening for the hard working pilots here in the country but this is how this game is played. But it is funny, how airlines here become fooled by players like these .
So one pilot gets hired that you dont agree with, and you feel the need to post about it? This person leaves the US to get paid better than at a regional, gets some great experience, fills his bank as you say, comes back and earns a better job? Good for him/her!!!! Well played. Not everyone has to stomach a regional for years and years when there are better options out there. Its also a huge risk to attempt when he/she did. Glad it worked out for them.

“loyal to US companies”? As in a regional? If you are “loyal” to a regional, that is the only foolish move you mentioned. Not one single regional deserves that.

Sure, ignore the fact that the other 99.99 percent of pilots are coming from regionals/corporate/fractional, and that experience with heavy itnl flying is way more valuable than someone flying domestically. Oh and lets not ignore the fact that you are being a cry baby, about another pilot who in your opinion, is being a cry baby. Pot meet kettle...

Sounds like you either got a TBNT yourself are super sour about it and need to vent, and/or you are from whatever regional this guy was at and are mad he took your bonus and ran. Way to go bashing an entire airline over one person only you dont like. LOL
