I’m not sure what “loyalty” to a US company means.
As with any job you enter into a consensual agreement where by you trade hours of your life in exchange for currency that you can spend on goods and services. No extra emotional investment is necessary.
If a pilot chooses to shop the hours of their life to another company (foreign or domestic) and finds better value, they are free to do so and it doesn’t reflect badly on their character.
Furthermore, the idea that working for a foreign company is anti-patriotic and somehow detrimental to the industry or US economy is small minded and xenophobic. But I suppose we live in a time where it’s much easier to blame others for our lack of achievement.
