The "flameout thing" was issue with a few aircraft. The BE40 requires an anti-icing additive mixed in with the fuel. The aircraft that had these problems they speculated that the previous FBO that they gassed up at forgot to add the anti-icing additive upon refueling. The requirement of "Prist" is actually in the AFM that comes from the factory. Beechcraft/Hawker's solution was I believe anytime the aircraft is over FL350 is to have the igniter's in the "continuous" position.
