Bottom line. You’re gonna make a ton of cash in this job. How hard you have to work for it is a function of employer, seniority and luck.
I just ran the numbers on 3 year 190 captain until we park them, to a 220 captain to retirement, against 319 FO at United for 5 years, and then 319 CA until retirement, and it's basically a wash.
Numbers obviously jump if you make assumptions like 777 CA for the last 15 years of a career, but for same equipment the difference is negligible.
