They shouldn't be sending you to recurrent cold turkey. At the least they should give you a recencey of experience sim if you ask. That should be enough. Your're not expired on your check, but more training could be due if you never consolidated. It's a case by case thing that a training manager can help with. They have policies, but are not widely advertised. I don't want you to get lost in the shuffle and thrown into recurrent when you could have a "knock off the rust" sim afforded to you if you ask. It's not like you have been flying the plane for the past year. Congrats on OTS!
